This lab serves as an introduction to using Google Earth as a web mapping service. Static maps (JPEG, PNG, etc.) of Stonehenge, Angkor Wat, Machu Picchu, The Sphinx, the Statue of Liberty, & Rose Atoll, as well as Escambia County Fire Departments, and Escambia County 2010 Census data are posted. There are also links to downloadable PDF’s for each of the maps, and interactive KML/KMZ’s. A 3D interactive map of Pensacola 2010 Census data is posted. Google Timelapse is explored and a link is provided.
